Introductory Note
Nesta edição da COOPSTAT merece destaque o Workshop
sobre coordenação da cooperação estatística nos países da
CPLP. Este evento juntou os responsáveis dos serviços de
Relações Externas e Cooperação dos INE que participam
no Programa de Capacitação Estatística da CPLP. Ainda no
contexto desta comunidade realizaram-se diversas ações
de cooperação nas áreas de Geoinformação, IPC/ICP,
Classificações e Legislação.
Na cooperação bilateral com países lusófonos registou-se
um elevado número de ações em diversas áreas,
nomeadamente com o Brasil e Cabo Verde.
Na cooperação europeia sublinha-se o acolhimento
de dois estagiários de países do alargamento (Albânia
e Sérvia), uma visita de trabalho do SORS (Sérvia) e a
participação num Workshop sobre Qualidade destinado
a países abrangidos pela Política Europeia de Vizinhança-
Sul.
Refere-se ainda o acolhimento de visita de trabalho de
uma delegação chinesa sobre principais indicadores
económicos.
This issue of COOPSTAT News highlights the Workshop
on the coordination of statistical cooperation in the CPLP
countries. This event brought together the Heads of the
External Relations and Cooperation Units of the NSIs
participating in the statistical capacity trainingprogramme
of the CPLP. Still in this context, multiple activities were held
in the areas of Geographic Information, Consumer Price
Index (CPI) and Short-term indicators (STI), Classifications
and Legislation.
Within bilateral cooperation with Portuguese-speaking
countries, several activities were undertaken in different
areas, especially with Brazil and Cabo Verde.
In the framework of EU cooperation, two traineeships
from the enlargement countries (Albania and Serbia),
a study visit from SORS (Serbia) and participation in a
Quality Workshop for countries covered by the European
Neighbourhood Policy (ENP-South countries) are
highlighted. Reference is also due to a working visit made
by a Chinese delegation on the subject of main economic
indicators.
