À conversa com Damjan, foi possível perceber o impacto
extremamente benéfico que esta experiência teve na sua
vida profissional e pessoal. Não obstante o enriquecimento
técnico que o estágio lhe proporcionou, que constitui uma
mais-valia para a sua familiarização comos procedimentos e
ambiente funcional do SEE, aquilo que mais o surpreendeu
durante a sua estadia foi a forte aposta do INE na
componente humana, nomeadamente através das
iniciativas promovidas pelo Grupo Cultural e Desportivo do
INE (GDINE). Este coletivo foi caracterizado pelo próprio
como “um excelente projeto” que procurará “replicar na
Sérvia”, na medida em que proporciona um espaço não
apenas de partilha, de bem-estar e de aquisição de novos
conhecimentos ou competências físicas ou artísticas
(teatro, ginásio, música, desportos coletivos,…), mas de
incentivo às relações interpessoais que, por sua vez, têm o
potencial de desbloquear processos morosos a nível
laboral. Esta última característica confere um carácter
distintivo ao GDINE e particularmente vantajoso para a

e entreajuda
profissional.
Neste contexto
o Damjan teve
a oportunidade de frequentar a oficina de fotografia, bem
como de participar no Torneio de Voleibol – Cascata de
Estrelas.
De toda a sua equipa de trabalho o Damjan transmitiu-nos
que guarda muito boas recordações, levando consigo
amizades e contactos que espera manter no futuro e
experiências que espera poder reproduzir ou adaptar para a
sua vida profissional futura.
By talking to Damjan it was made clear that the impact of
this experience was extremely beneficial to him, on both a
professional and personal level. Notwithstanding the
technical added value of this initiative, namely in the
awareness of the procedures and functioning of the ESS, the
biggest surprise for Damjan was the commitment of
Statistics Portugal to the collective well-being of its staff,
especially through its Cultural and Sporting Group (GDINE).
This Group was described, in his own words, as “an excellent
project”, one that he wishes “to replicate in Serbia”. In his
perspective, it not only provides an environment of sharing,
personal gratification and the acquisition of new skills, both
physical and artistic (theatre, gym, music, dancing, sports,
etc.), but also of great personal connections which help to
unlock time-consuming processes in the work context. This
last trait confers a distinctive feature to GDINE, one which is
particularly advantageous to Statistics Portugal, due to its
ability to reflect its specific well-being benefits in terms of
productivity and mutual assistance between co-workers. In
this context Damjan had the opportunity to experience
photography workshops, as well as participating in a
Volleyball Tournament “Star Cascade” which gathered the
statistical office staff.
Regarding the work-team, Damjan told us that there are a
lot of good memories, friendships and acquaintances that
are cherished and will hopefully be kept in the future. In
terms of work experience, he wishes to be able to replicate
and adapt it to his future work in the Statistical Office of the
Republic of Serbia.
