Nota Introdutória
O presente número da Coopstat News destaca a
cooperação desenvolvida com o INE de São Tomé
e Príncipe na área da Geoinformação, enquanto
exemplo de boas práticas nesta área de
cooperação estatística. Pretende-se igualmente
salientar a cooperação com o INE de São Tomé e
Príncipe, através de entrevista à respetiva
DiretoraGeral, Elsa Cardoso.
No período em apreço continua-se a realçar, na
componente multilateral, a implementação do
Programa de Capacitação dos Sistemas
Estatísticos Nacionais dos PALOP e Timor-Leste
,
tanto na sua Fase 2 (2013), como na extensão da
sua Fase 1 (2012). Na vertente bilateral, é
destacada mais uma vez a cooperação com o INE
deMoçambique e como INE de Angola.
Na cooperação com outros países, destaca-se o
acolhimento de uma técnica, proveniente da
Albânia, no âmbito do programa da União
Europeia “
IPA 2011 - Multibeneficiary Statistical
Cooperation Programme
” que durante quatro
meses estagiou no INE na área da infraestrutura
tecnológica, com testemunhos da própria técnica
e da sua orientadora.
The current edition of Coopstat News highlights
the cooperation undertaken with NSI-Sao Tome
and Principe (STP) on Geoinformation, as a good
practice of statistical cooperation in this area. We
also focus on cooperation with the NSI of STP,
through an interview to the respective Director
General, Elsa Cardoso.
In this edition, fromamultilateral perspective, we
continue to outline the implementation of the
Training Programme of the National Statistical
System of the Portuguese-speaking African
Countries and Timor-Leste, in its Phase 2 (2013)
andwithin the extension of its Phase 1 (2012). At a
bilateral level, we underline the cooperation
activitieswithMozambique andAngola.
Concerning cooperation with other countries, we
highlight the traineeship at Statistics Portugal
during four months of one expert, from Albania,
under the EU IPA - 2011 Multibeneficiary
Statistical Cooperation Programme, with
testimonials fromthe trainee and hermentor.
