Since I found out that I was chosen for this traineeship I was excited but I didn't dream how it would have a significant
impact onme and onmy professional experience.
I have learnt somuch during this traineeship and it has givenmemany new skills and improvedmy confidence. I worked
in field of system administration, network monitoring and security and VoIP, all these with open source software. I
worked in testing and real production environment.
During this fivemonth traineeship, mymentor and other colleagues fromthe office helpedme verymuch to learn and to
try lots of new things. They gave me tips and advices whenever I need it, also they encouraged me and supported me to
finish every job. Every day there was something new and exciting to do and learn. It was great to be able to work in an
environment where colleagues arewilling to help each other.
I appreciate the opportunity I had at INE Portugal and I hope I will be able to implement all I've learnt inmy organization.
Also, I would like to emphasize that I didn't have any unpleasant situation and all people that I met during my staying in
Portugal gaveme support and helpme all the time.

Testimonial of Humberto Correia, mentor's traineeship
No último ano, este foi o segundo estágio técnico com estagiários
provenientes de países do leste europeu. A experiência que adquiri
no primeiro estágio proporcionou-me uma melhor compreensão
relativamente às diferenças culturais e permitiu-me ajustar o
programa de estágio de forma a atender às necessidades do
candidato.
Desde o início, o estagiário é avaliado de acordo com a sua
formação técnica de forma a estabelecer amelhor abordagempara
atingir os objetivos propostos.
Até agora, o principal feedback que recebemos de nossos
estagiários é a surpresa que sentem quando percebem a dimensão das nossas infraestruturas de IT e de
telecomunicações implementadas a nível local e nacional.
Usamos uma ampla gama da mais recente tecnologia de IT, variando entre routers de alta qualidade, core switches,
VoIP, fibra ótica para alta definição (HD) de equipamentos de videoconferência.
Durante todo o estágio, o feedback do estagiário é essencial, uma vez que nos permite corrigir, prevenir e resolver
eventuais problemas, sendo estes de natureza técnica ou outra.
